Mistinguette Smith will be the Twink Frey Visiting Social Activist in residence at the University of Michigan Center for the Education of Women. She will conduct Black/Land group and individual interviews in Ann Arbor, Detroit and Grand Rapids. She will develop and present a new work, “Black/Land: Women’s Voices” focused on the relationship between black women, land and place.
